Hello, I am a user in the German version of Wikipedia mainly contributing to the areas of geography and insects.

I am not professionally active working anymore. I hold a Doctorate degree and I spent some time in the U.S. and earning a scientfiic degree (although in other parts of academia). It looks as if I am the top contributor to the insects’ part of wikipedia.de for the last years. I live in a place where new insects for Germany are highly probable - with 2 new insects in the last years (one article coming soon). In the mainstream media often insects articles are placed because partly they are part of the zeitgeist and they are often not present in Germany or Central Europe.

I would wish finding serious contributors to the insects and geography world of wikipedia. Information to the (scientific) public mostly takes place in English and not in German. You do not need to have a Doctorate degree or studies at an US-american or other superior university. Maybe I can support you in the one or other way.--Slimguy (talk) 14:17, 10 April 2025 (UTC)
