Güney Afrika[1][2] veya Güneydoğu Afrika,[3][a] Doğu Afrika[b] ile Güney Afrika arasında bir ara bölgedir.[c][8] Botsvana, Esvatini, Kenya, Lesoto, Malavi,[9] Mozambik,[10][11] Namibya, Ruanda, Güney Afrika, Tanzanya, Uganda, Zambiya ve Zimbabve[12] anakara ülkelerinin yanı sıraMadagaskar, Mauritius, Komorlar ve Seyşeller ada ülkelerini de kapsamaktadır.[10]
