Streptophyta, (bazı üyelerinin sperm morfolojisinden ötürü, Yunanca 'bükülmüş' anlamına gelen strepto kelimesinden türetilmiştir) bir bitki kladıdır. Kladın bileşenleri bilim adamları arasında önemli ölçüde değişkenlik gösterse de burada kullanılan tanım, kara bitkilerini ve Chlorophyta (ve daha bazal Prasinodermophyta) hariç tüm yeşil algleri kapsar.^[4]
